No one would take on his case… until one man was willing to take on the system.
When a man with AIDS is fired by a conservative law firm because of his condition, he hires a homophobic small time lawyer as the only willing advocate for a wrongful dismissal suit.
I was moved and Antonio Banderas made me change his image completely. I actually have never seen Tom Hank’s films before, I don’t know why though, something was laid down between his films and me and I never had any chance to watch them.
Anyway I knew he was a good actor, I heard many people mentioned about him as a great actor, then finally I watched one of his. In deed, it was great.
This film is over 15 years old though, it doesn’t make me feel old, and we still have such problems. Tom Hanks performs very well and Denzel Washington is awesome. The story includes controversial issues but it's not overly emphasized. It goes quietly. As I wrote above, still such kind of issues exist. I am really really touched.
