I think Alan Rickman & Bill Nighy are good combination. It's better if there were a little more surprise.

Anyway basically this is a story of family human drama. Phil and Shelley were a husband and a wife but she left 10 years ago after a compitition of barbers, and lives with Sandra as her spause. Their son Brian decided to take part in a new contest, then his mother, Shelley suddenly appears and they learn she's suffering a cancer.

I like Rachel Griffiths and I haven't noticed until I saw her in this film. There is nothing about lesbian scenes and I'm not very much interested in, this is a sort of side kick of this film, I guess.
