Comment:
It's fun. The story itself is very predictable though, anyway I like Matthew Rhys, so it doesn’t matter.
There are a few twists and they break our expectations, but not much. In the beginning of the story, there are some uncertain scenes, such as why an older guy are looking at younger daughter so much, then around three-quarter has passed we learn what’s going on her life.
Two couples, Catherine & Byrne and Anne & Strang, are main stream of this film, and Catherine & Byrne’s love is very predictable, but Anne and Strang’s is a little twisted. I like more latter two couples. It's not only the reason why Matthew Rhys is one of my favourite actors, but their relationship is not a cliché, I reckon.
