Plot:

Playwright Tony Kushner adapts his political epic about the AIDS crisis during the mid-eighties, around a group of separate but connected individuals.

Comment:

It is based on the play, so there were a lot of big words. The story itself is quite good and I sympathized to Joe a lot. Difficult thing is as I wrote before, it’s based on the play, the line is quite long and it takes a little time to understand them. Also most of characters are played by same actors, for instance, Meryl Streep plays Joe’s Mum, Ethel and surprisingly a rabbi. I haven’t seen much drama play, that’s why it is very impressive, I assume.
